Lesson Plans

The learners in my class are in high school, most of them are seniors. Because this is an advanced course, all students are on the correct reading level--some of the students may need special accommodations for being gifted. Because American History I (1942-1877) is a prerequisite for this course, students should have the background information necessary to understand the material.

Evaluate and Revise

Students enjoyed learning about different figures during the Holocaust and writing from their point of view. Most of the male students did not enjoy having to write from a woman's point of view. When I cover this topic next year I will give students the option to write about life during the war from a male or female perspective.
